Why Pay For The Dog?

I'm not against pets in the The House but why does Obama need another pet when we can't even see The House because of the sequester? Why do taxpayers have to pay for the pleasure of Obama's Sean Hannity escape every night?

This animal is costing taxpayers $102,000 per year for the dog sitter/ trainer, plus dog food, squeaky toys, grooming, etc. 

Bo went on the Martha's Vineyard boondoggle in style. He traveled in an Osprey helicopter which costs $10,000 an hour to operate and of course his handler was also on board.

After eating dog in Indonesia, why does Obama need one as a pet? I guess if a cattle rancher eats steak, he can eat his dog and have it too!

In the face of trillions of debt this is just chump change but every penny adds up.
